Moving Supplies Guide: What You Actually Need
Boxes
Use small boxes for books and dense items, medium boxes for general household contents, and large boxes for lightweight bedding and linens. Specialty cartons may help with dishes, mirrors, TVs, and wardrobes.
Cushioning and Paper
Packing paper protects surfaces and fills empty space. Bubble wrap can help with fragile items. Avoid newspaper on items that may be stained by ink.
Tape and Labels
Use quality packing tape to close cartons and a thick marker for room, contents, and handling instructions.
What iBox Includes for Standard Moving
Moving blankets, shrink wrap, tape used for standard furniture protection, dollies, straps, tools, and complimentary wardrobe-box use during the move are included. Boxes and materials for loose contents are separate unless written in the estimate.
Do Not Overpack
Boxes should close flat and remain safe to carry. Reinforce the bottom and use smaller cartons when weight becomes excessive.
