Labor-Only Movers in San Fernando Valley

Moving Labor Without Transportation

iBox Moving can provide a crew for loading or unloading a customer-rented truck or container, moving furniture within a property, or completing other approved labor-only work.

How Labor-Only Pricing Works

Labor-only service uses the same hourly rate as the corresponding iBox crew-and-truck package. The rate is not reduced because the customer supplies transportation. A three-hour minimum applies, followed by 15-minute increments.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for reserving the rental truck or container, confirming its condition and size, providing legal parking and access, and following the rental company’s rules. iBox Moving does not drive customer-rented vehicles.

Loading Customer Equipment

Our crew can load using standard moving techniques, but the customer controls the vehicle, route, and transportation after loading. Final conditions may shift during customer-operated transport, especially if the vehicle is driven aggressively or opened and rearranged.

Equipment and Limitations

Confirm which dollies, blankets, straps, and other materials are available for the job. We do not provide rigging, forklift, liftgate, crane, hazardous-material, piano, or extremely heavy safe service.

Request a Labor-Only Estimate

Provide the location, inventory, stairs or elevators, walking distance, rental-vehicle details, and requested work. We will confirm the crew and written terms before booking.

A USDOT number alone does not prove that a company has authority to perform your specific move. Get a Written Estimate The estimate should identify the mover, addresses, date, crew, pricing method, minimum time, travel terms, and important charges. Do not rely only on a verbal price or text message. Watch for Common Red Flags Pressure to pay a large deposit immediately No…

FAQ

Scheduling a local move with iBox Moving

When Should I Schedule My Move?

How Far in Advance Should I Book? Book as soon as your move date is confirmed. One to two weeks may be sufficient for many local moves, but more notice gives you better crew and time-window availability. Which Dates Fill First? Weekends and the beginning and end of the month are usually busiest. Buildings with limited elevator windows also require earlier coordination. Do You Accept Last-Minute Moves? Sometimes, depending on crew and truck…
