Areas we serve
Standard Coverage for Local Moves
iBox Moving is licensed and insured. Local household-goods moves include standard released-value protection as required by applicable rules.
What Does $0.60 per Pound Mean?
Standard released value is limited to $0.60 per pound per article. Compensation is based on the item’s weight, not its purchase price or replacement cost. For example, a 20-pound item would have a maximum standard released value of $12.
Is This Full Replacement Coverage?
No. Customers moving artwork, antiques, collections, electronics, designer furniture, or other high-value belongings should consider appropriate third-party coverage and review homeowners or renters policies before moving day.
Document Valuable Items
Provide accurate inventory, photographs, receipts, serial numbers, and condition records. Tell us about unusual or valuable items before booking so we can confirm whether they are within our service scope.
If Damage Occurs
Notify the office promptly, preserve the item and packaging, and provide photos and supporting documentation. We will explain the claim process and the terms that apply to the move.
Certificates of Insurance
Building COIs confirm applicable business coverage but do not replace customer-selected protection for the full value of personal property. Special building endorsements may require additional processing time or fees.
