All moves include standard valuation coverage as required by law. This is known as “Released Value Protection” and provides basic reimbursement based on weight — typically $0.60 per pound per item.
Can I Purchase Full Coverage?
Yes. If you want full replacement value coverage (to be reimbursed based on actual value), we can refer you to third-party insurance providers that specialize in moving protection. Just let us know before your move.
Does My Homeowners or Renters Insurance Cover My Move?
In some cases, yes. Some policies cover personal property during a move — but you’ll need to check with your provider. We’re happy to provide documentation or answer any questions your insurer has.
