Moving in Burbank? We Work Behind the Scenes Like the Studios Do
Burbank is where LA works - behind the cameras, under tight deadlines, and always with precision. Whether you're moving into a hillside home above Sunset Canyon or downsizing from a Toluca Lake condo, iBox Moving handles Burbank relocations with the same professionalism expected by the studios we serve.
From the Lots to the Neighborhoods - We Know Burbank
We've helped crew members relocate during production breaks, moved props out of studios near Warner Bros., and handled last-minute pack-ups in Magnolia Park. We know how to get a truck into tight alleys off Olive Avenue and how to navigate early morning moves near Bob Hope Airport. In Burbank, time and discretion matter - we deliver both.

How to Pack Fragile Items Safely
If there’s one part of moving that makes people sweat, it’s packing fragile stuff.
No one wants to hear that clinking sound when the truck hits a bump.
So here’s how to keep your glass, dishes, and electronics safe:
- Use more padding than you think: Bubble wrap, towels, socks — whatever it takes. Don’t be stingy.
- Wrap items individually: Don’t stack plates like pancakes. Treat each one like it’s special.
- Use small boxes: Less room to shift means less chance of breaking.
- Fill all gaps: If it shakes, it breaks.
- Write “fragile” on all visible sides: Movers aren’t psychic — make it obvious.
Or just let "iBox Moving" do the packing for you. We pack like it’s our own stuff. Follow us for more smart moving advice.

How to Move Heavy Items – Tips for Safe Lifting and Transport
Think Before You Lift
Moving heavy furniture and appliances can be dangerous without a plan. Always assess the weight, shape, and path before you touch anything.
1. Clear the Path First
Before moving anything bulky, remove rugs, cords, or clutter. Measure doorways and hallways to ensure your item will fit through safely.
2. Use Proper Lifting Techniques
Bend your knees, not your back. Keep the load close to your body and lift with your legs. Never twist while lifting — it’s a recipe for injury.
3. Use Moving Tools
Dollies, straps, sliders, and lifting harnesses can save your back and make the job easier. These tools are worth the investment or can be rented affordably.
4. Disassemble When Possible
Break down beds, tables, and large furniture into smaller pieces to reduce weight. Remove drawers or doors to make items easier to handle.
5. Work with a Partner
Don’t try to lift heavy things alone. Communicate clearly with your partner — use signals or count to move at the same time.
6. Protect Floors and Walls
Use furniture blankets and corner guards to prevent scratches and dents. Place cardboard or mats on floors for extra protection.
